About Us

The Action Pit was founded by Sigung Richard Klein in June of 2010. Mr Klein has been involved in martial arts for over 21 years, most of which has been with Professor Bob Anderson at the Double Action Training Academy.

The Action Pit is comprised of many styles, but the primary, the mother style is Kajukenbo. The Action Pit also incorporates conditioning from the world famous training facility called “The Pit” .

The name, “The Action Pit” is made up from 2 different styles, “Action” from the “Double Action Training Academy” and “Pit” comes from the “The Pit”. The acronym for “The Action Pit” is “TAP”.
